By providing consent, you are allowing Abbey Conference & Events and the local host partners to store your data for up to 12 months after the event and the ability to send information via email in relation to the 13th Symposium for European Freshwater Science (SEFS 13). Upon completion of the 12 month period, all event data shall be archived with personal information deleted except for name, organisation and email for the SEFS database.

Excursions for the 13th Symposium for European Freshwater Sciences

SEFS13 is pleased to be working with a number of local businesses to bring you an exciting day of excursions. We have everything ranging from water adventures, Seabird cruises, Local history and Beer!

All excursions will take place on Wednesday 21st June. There will be no sessions scheduled for this day.

SEFS13 is also excited to announce an exclusive event to help raise funds for SEFS14 Early Careers. Entry to this event is included in your excursion ticket. This event will take place at Wylam Brewery from 5pm – 11pm on Wednesday 21st June, the perfect end to a perfect day out. You can expect; music, food, beer and the opportunity to network with colleagues and friends while raising important funds to help support Early Careers. A percentage of each excursion booking will go towards supporting SEFS14 Early Career Bursaries.

Excursion places are limited and sold on a first come, first served basis.

Seahouse grey seal cruise with Seabirds and Bamburgh Castle visit

Payment

The preferred method of payment is via credit/debit card. Your payment by credit/debit card will be encrypted and securely forwarded to the event organiser. For registrations received using the bank transfer option a provisional booking will be held for 7 days. If payment is not received via bank transfer after 7 days the registration will be cancelled.

It is your responsibility to cover the cost of any international transfers. Please check with your bank if any charges will be incurred.
