Welcome to the Registration Form for ICIC25. 

  • If you have submitted an abstract, please use the Conference Registration link in the Abstract Acceptance Email, so your conference registration is on the same account as your abstract. If you need us to resend you the link, please email icic@abbey.ie 
  • Please type all information in upper and lower case e.g. John Citizen. 
  • You can choose to pay by debit/credit card or by Bank Transfer. If you pay by card, your card details will be encrypted and securely forwarded to the conference organiser.

Due to regulations in Portugal requiring certified e-invoices to be issued to delegates, the registration process for ICIC25 will differ from previous conferences. Please note the following:

  • We are unable to offer group registrations or group invoices. Each delegate will be issued with an individual invoice.
  • We will collect your billing address details during the registration process (the address required on your invoice). It is important that these details are entered correctly, so please ensure you have this information before you start your registration. 
  • When you have completed your registration, you will receive a registration confirmation email. If you have paid by debit/credit card, you will receive a receipt of your payment. Your invoice will be sent to your billing contact (the email address you provide on the form) within 3 weeks of your registration.

Data Processing

In order to manage attendees at this event, we need to collect your contact information.

By providing consent, you are allowing IFIC, Abbey Conference & Events and the local host partners to store your data for up to 12 months after the event and to add your email address to IFIC’s database. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Upon completion of the 12 month period, all event data shall be archived with personal information deleted except for name, organisation and email for the IFIC database. 

If you do not provide consent then we cannot process your registration. 

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting icic@abbey.ie.

Upon request, all personal data will be removed from our system.

Privacy and Settings

The Conference App will display the details of all attendees who provide consent for their information to be displayed and shared with other App users. Doing so, will facilitate networking across delegates and will also allow delegates to share messages. Please confirm if you are happy for your Name, Position, Organisation and Country to be displayed in the App.

Billing Address Details

IMPORTANT: If you are submitting the invoice to your university | company | institute to pay on your behalf you must complete the Billing Address section correctly as these are the details that will appear on the invoice. If changes to billing details are requested after the invoice has been issued, due to the Portuguese certified e-invoicing regulations, we may have to charge for any changes. 

For credit/debit card payments, please ensure this address matches the credit/debit card name and address.
Please only use English alphabet characters. If you have other characters in your details please correct them to English alphabet (for example: change "ê" into "e", "ñ" into "n" etc.).


Portuguese VAT Number

If you/your organisation are VAT registered in Portugal, you will not be required to pay the VAT on your Conference Registration Fee or Gala Dinner Ticket.

Portuguese VAT Number

You must provide a valid Portuguese VAT number below and this must be registered to the billing address you provided. Please enter this information carefully. This will be checked on the European Commission VAT Information Exchange System (VIES) before your invoice is issued. If the VAT number is not valid, we will amend your registration fee to include VAT.

Personal Details - Letter of Support for Visa Application

Please fill in your personal details below and ensure they match the details in your passport.

You are first required to pay for your registration in full before you receive a Letter of Support for your visa application.

If paying via credit card, you will receive the Letter of Support for your visa application automatically, in your registration confirmation email, as a .pdf file.

If paying via bank transfer, you are still required to fill in all necessary details below during your registration process. After payment has been processed, kindly email your remittance (proof of payment) to icic@abbey.ie and we will email you your Letter of Support.
Please note, it may take a few days to receive your Letter of Support when paying via bank transfer.

Payment Policy

  • Registration payment can only be made by debit/credit card at this stage. Payments will be encrypted and securely forwarded to the event organiser. You will receive a receipt with your confirmation email and a VAT invoice within 1 week.
  • Cancellation fee of €50 applies for cancellations received on or prior to 5 March 2025.
  • Registrations cancelled after 5 March 2025 will not be refunded.
