Gaelic Football, Hurling and Gaelic Handball are more than games - they're living threads of Irelands Heritage. Each sport brings its own rhythm and flair, and together they form a cultural tapestry that has inspired communities for centuries. EuCAP delegates have the exciting opportunity to experience three Gaelic sports via the Gaelic games experience.

Sip & Savor Dublin: book your distillery experience

 

Step into the heart of Irish whiskey at the Jameson Distillery Bow St., located in the vibrant Smithfield area of Dublin. Founded in 1780 by John Jameson, this historic site was the original home of Jameson Irish Whiskey.

Today, the distillery offers an immersive experience that blends storytelling, craft, and tasting — a deep dive into over 240 years of Irish whiskey heritage.

You’ll learn about traditional distilling methods and enjoy a signature Jameson cocktail at the end of your visit.

  • Tour time: 4:00pm start time. Please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes in advance of your hour.

Uncover Dublin’s History, One Step at a Time

The tour will start at the Samuel Beckett Bridge where we will have an introduction to Irish writers and literature. The tour will continue to the Jeanie Johnston and the Famine memorial and give a resume of Irish history. On to Butt Bridge and the Custom House, then cross the river to the south side of Dublin to learn about the growth of the city and the establishment of the IFSC. You will then see the original site of Windmill Lane Studios made famous by U2 and many others. The tour group will then return across the Samuel Beckett to the CCD.

  • Ending location: The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD)
