Please use only English alphabet letters in your contact details.  If you have other characters in your name and address, please change them to English alphabet for this form (for example: change "é" into "e", "ñ" into "n" etc, miss out a "-" from Anne-Marie or " ' " from O'Malley).   We can change it to the correct spelling once you've registered - please email efdc2@abbey.ie

EFCD2 2025 Registration Fees

All conference registration prices are exempt of VAT and in the currency EUR (€), with the exception of the Gala Dinner which will include VAT at the current Ireland rate of 23%. A ticket will cost €70 in total.

According to the Euromech rules for Conferences (which are different from Colloquia) ALL participants pay 30 Euros to be transferred to Euromech. Those who are not members become members for one year, those who are already members get their membership extended. Personal Details - Letter of Support for Visa Application

You are first required to pay for your registration in full before you receive a Letter of Support for your visa application. If paying via credit card, you will receive the Letter of Support for your visa application automatically, in your registration confirmation email.  If paying via bank transfer, you are still required to fill in all necessary details below during your registration process. After payment has been processed, kindly email your remittance (proof of payment) to efdc2@abbey.ie and we will email you your Letter of Support.

Conference Gala Dinner

The EFDC2 Dinner will take place in the evening of Thursday, 28th August 2025, at the Aviva Stadium.


Places are limited and tickets must be purchased to attend. A gala dinner ticket is €70 in total, including 23% VAT. 

Conference Dinner Ticket

Aviva Stadium is the home of Irish Rugby and Irish Football. It is a place of gathering, it encapsulates the heartbeat of a nation and inspires great victories. Aviva Stadium sits on the grounds of the oldest sports stadium in Europe. It was founded by Henry Dunlop in 1872 as a multi- purpose athletics grounds. Six years later, in 1878 the first international rugby match was played between Ireland and England which also makes it the oldest rugby international test venue in the world.

Aviva Stadium proudly stands on this hallowed turf and continues to forge its own legacy hosting world class events throughout the year.

Please join us for the Gala dinner in the Aviva stadium which promises to be an unforgettable evening including a three course meal, and traditional Irish music and dancing.
