Preparing for a career in pathology as a medical student and foundation doctor
8:40 - 9:20Abstract
My clinical and academic endeavours as medical student and foundation doctor have shaped my passion for histopathology. In this talk, I will share my experiences on the journey to a successful application for histopathology specialty training.
Against a backdrop of increasing competition for training posts, I will provide an overview of the specialty training application process and share some reflections on preparing a strong application. I hope to enthuse aspiring trainees, but also provide some practical advice on making this aspiration a reality.
