Gynaecology/Urology - Diagnostic Challenges at the Interface
8:30 AM - 9:00 AMAbstract
This will be a case based presentation, discussing interesting cases which have relevance to both gynaecological and uropathology. I will discuss clinical implications of these diagnosis, and any relevant immunohistochemical and molecular findings.

Recent Advances in Ovarian Carcinoma
9:00 AM - 9:30 AMAbstract
Mesonephric-Like Adenocarcinoma of the Ovary
Ten Years On from recognition -Where are we now.
We will take a closer look at the history of this rare neoplasm, the expanding landscape of morphology features,
pitfalls to be aware of with histological features and immunohistochemistry, the diagnostic Mimics and molecular findings.

Practical Tips in Diagnosing Uterine Sarcoma
9:30 AM - 10:00 AMAbstract
Uterine sarcomas are uncommon but diagnostically challenging tumours with important clinical implications. Accurate distinction from benign and atypical uterine mesenchymal tumours is essential, particularly in limited samples or morphologically overlapping cases.
This talk will provide a practical approach to the diagnosis of uterine sarcoma, focusing on key histological clues, common diagnostic pitfalls, immunohistochemistry and molecular testing. Emphasis will be placed on recognising features that support leiomyosarcoma, endometrial stromal sarcoma, inflammatory myofibroblastic tumour, PEComa, Uterine tumours resembling ovarian sex cord tumours, NTRK-rearranged sarcoma, and undifferentiated uterine sarcoma.
Through case-based examples and practical tips, this session aims to help pathologists develop a structured approach to uterine mesenchymal tumours and improve diagnostic confidence in routine practice.
