The AAAS session provides a different perspective to the overall theme of the BSAS 2025 Conference Animal Science: Supporting livestock's role in a global society by focusing on how agriculture and animal science can create linkages with society to increase their understanding of the importance of livestock to sustainable agricultural production. The session will outline community perceptions of livestock production, innovative education and employment programs that showcase agriculture and animal science as an exciting and fulfilling career and including indigenous voices in food and health research.
