Details

In this session you will hear from Dave Ross who has successfully supported adoption in livestock technologies for a number of years both in the UK and Internationally, working in a number of key countries. As well as hearing from Dave, we will highlight relevant funding schemes and explore new opportunities to accelerate adoption, remove innovation barriers, and enable us to meet current UK needs and challenges at pace. We will also look further afield and discuss programmes such as the Trilateral work (UK/Africa/Brazil) that is currently running. Following this we will hear a number of abstracts that complement the sessions title looking at adoption of livestock innovation. This session will inform scientists and innovators, end-users of innovation in the livestock industry, funders and policy makers in leading new activities which accelerate the uptake of new technologies and systems.
