Jim Jensen is the owner of Lucky 7 Angus, a 6- generation ranch in the high mountains of Boulder, Wyoming. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ag Business from the University of
Wyoming in 1988. He then went on to be a
Professional Rodeo Cowboy where he lived and traveled with World Champions. He was the
Mountain States Circuit Saddle Bronc Champion in
1991. Competed in the Dodge National Circuit Finals and Coors Chute out finals. Traveling down the road in the US and Canada during his 11-year Professional Rodeo Career along with a lifetime spent working on the ranch gave him vast knowledge in Agriculture and especially the cattle industry. In 1993 Jim put his efforts full time into the ranch where he created the Nation’s Elite Feed Efficient Genetics, and was able to purchase 5 more ranches.
