Details

The Poultry session starts with addressing some aspects of nutritional value methodology, followed by a series of papers on alternative feed ingredients through phyto-chemical rich raw material and/or feed additives, but also a novel use of honey. Whilst these focus on broilers and turkeys, the session then hosts a paper on precision feeding for layers, before ending with something completely different, i.e. extracting high quality proteins from feathers. This range of topics, with nutrition as a common theme, will be presented by a mixture of national and international speakers, setting the scene for great discussions with relevance to other sectors alike.
